The Adansi North District is a district of Ghana in the Ashanti Region. It contains six major natural forest reserves, and the Anglogold Ashanti company's largest and richest gold mine. The district has 195 schools and 4 major hospitals. The Kwapia shrine is a major tourist attraction here.
